Why

Do We Baptize?

Jesus commanded his Disciples to preach The Gospel & Baptize.

The word baptize means to cleanse by submerging in water; to wash & make clean with water.

Mark 16:15-17

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues."

We believe that by the awesome Power & Authority of the name of Jesus Christ, salvation comes to all men!

Acts 4:7-12

They had Peter and John brought before them and asked, “By what power or in what name did you do this?”

Then Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit, answered, “Leaders of the people and elders, are we being examined today because something good was done for a sick person, a good deed that healed him?  If so, then you and all the people of Israel need to know that this man stands healthy before you because of the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. This Jesus is the stone you builders rejected; he has become the cornerstone! Salvation can be found in no one else. Throughout the whole world, no other name has been given among humans through which we must be saved.”

How can you receive salvation?

If you repent & be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, you will receive salvation!

Acts 2:37-39

When the crowd heard this, they were deeply troubled. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”

Peter replied, “Change your hearts and lives. Each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  This promise is for you, your children, and for all who are far away—as many as the Lord our God invites.”
