Bishop Dr. Kelvin Leavy, Sr., is a devoted leader to the world, a lover of God’s people, and an anointed visionary. He has a contagious spirit of love and generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Graduating with a B.S. in Agriculture Education & Economics from Mississippi State University; it is no surprise that Bishop Leavy has an insightful aptitude for growing and cultivating ministry. Following his passion for God's word, he attended Emmanuel Theology Seminary; receiving a Master’s in Divinity and a Doctorate in Theology.

 

Bishop Leavy’s ministry began in 1995 under the council of the most honorable Bishop James Leavy, Sr., and the Greater Macedonia Church. He served as the Youth President and Worship Leader. After serving several years as the Youth Chairman for The World Assemblies of Restoration, he received the call and vision to gather God’s people and form Judah Temple of Praise Ministries (JTOP) in 2000. Since the inception of Judah Temple of Praise Ministries, God has given Bishop Leavy favor to share the Gospel throughout the United States of America and internationally.
